I’m getting my blogging legs back under me and it feels fantastic!
I just activated community features, so you can “like” a post by tapping that little heart. This is helpful because it lets me know what you want more of and less of. (I had this deactivated, so if you have a moment, please go back and “like” the posts you liked in the last few weeks.)
Paid subscribers can also comment. (If you want to be able to do this but can’t afford a paid subscription, email me and let me know; I turn no one away if cost is the only issue.)
I even started taking photos for the blog again. Yes, 99% of the photos I share here are from my handy-dandy Apple Pocket Telephone. (Also, know that the photos are hardly ever intended to ‘go along with’ their accompanying blog entry, though you, dear reader, can have fun seeing any serendipitous connections that may have unintentionally occurred.)
Happy Sunday, y’all! Haoooogah!
Known
God, I learned from somewhere that the reason you forgive me for my sins is because, when you look at me, you only see Jesus in my place. (And how could you get mad at Jesus, right? I mean, he’s so perfect!)
Take it or leave it
God, when they said that I need to “believe,” I took this to mean that I needed to believe certain statements ABOUT you.
Exactly where you are
I read a poem today that was like a birthday present to me. So, in the order of gifts of the heart, I can do nothing but pass it along to you.
The limitation of universalism
I’ll just come out and say it… I’m a universalist. I believe that God has not created one molecule, one quark, one animal, one human, one plant, or one rock without chaining His love to it eternally.
The loving discourse
I mentioned yesterday that universalism (“God loves EVERYONE!”) isn’t what the longing human heart needs to hear. Rather, we need to hear the three words we need to hear from any loved one: “I love YOU.”
