God, when they said that I need to “believe,” I took this to mean that I needed to believe certain statements ABOUT you.
But now I know that,
it’s not believing things ABOUT you that will free me.
It’s BELIEVING YOU
your incarnate Word out of your mouth
that will free me.
Particularly when you say, “I love you.”
I can either take it or leave it.
But either way, it’s your word.
God, help me choose the former.
