Turns out, you are not a robot. If anything, you’re more like a garden. You need more water and food some days than others. You need sun (but too much could be bad). Some seasons are better for you than others. You can be unpredictable at times. Last season, you bore fruit like crazy. This season, nada.
It sounds amazing to be like a well-oiled machine, always running at peak performance without deviation. But you weren’t made that way, and it’s for good reason. The wise Creator who sewed you out of the soil and breathed breath into your lungs knew this wildness was a far better design than perpetual sameness.
