This “radical hospitality” is akin to being cheugy…trying too hard. You’re spot on when you say most new visitors merely want to check things out first, to get a feel of a natural vibe. Let’s leave the radical part to Jesus…as we try to emulate Him outside of the church, not necessarily inside. Thanks!
Introverted curmudgeon, I like that description, it fits me too. But, I suppose there are also those people who will not return, simply because they were NOT shown radical hospitality!
