We are officially in the thick of my favorite time of year — Autumn.
Halloween is tonight. We’re going to go out tricking and treating and eating too much candy and having a sugar crash and all the great stuff that all hallows eve has in store for a family with a 3-year old in tow.
It’s funny how, when we become parents, we see very quickly that the universe is paying us back for all the shenanigans we pulled when we were kids. Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to it.
That said, it’s been an awesome month here at Higher Thoughts. But it’s about to get a heck of a lot better, because (drumroll, please)…
I wrote you a book…
Seriously. Not an e-book. A real one that you can plunk down on the coffee table and enjoy by candlelight (just be careful, it will be flammable).
I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to see this publication — which has remained in digital form since its inception — take on a physical form. I’m so, so grateful for the support you’ve given me every day over these last eighteen months and to have something more than just pixels to offer you is incredible.
Here’s the skinny:
The book is a hand-picked collection of my favorite essays (40 or so) from the first year (I call it the first ‘season’ because it sounds more Netflix-ey) of Higher Thoughts (April 2015-April 2016). I’ve combed through, slightly edited them for readability sake thrown in some pretty images, and wrapped them all up for you. (The cover will look a lot like the above photo.)
It’s a beautiful book with big, elegant print. I’ve chosen to make the first run softcover because I want you to be able to flip through them easy (and a soft touch is always better).
I’m not sure exactly what the price will be at this point — I’m thinking around $30. So if you dig my content here on Higher Thoughts, this is a great piece to have in your collection — PLUS, if all goes well in the next couple days — it’ll be ready just in time for the holidays so it’ll make a fantastic gift for those you want to elevate.
If you’re interested in grabbing one for yourself (and/or your loved ones), please…
click here to get on the email list so I can (1) get a pulse on how many I’ll need to order and (2) to make sure to stay updated with further details. (If you’re NOT on my regular email list, but you sign up for this one, you’ll ONLY get emails from me about the book.)
