Which master are you serving?

The mind cannot serve two masters at the same time.

By default, our mind serves the lower self. The lizard brain. The world of external conditions, fear, and election season soundbites.

It doesn’t just automatically step up its game to start doing the bidding of our Higher Self.

You don’t just wake up one day, eat your Wheaties, and all of a sudden go,

Hot diggity, look at me. I’m fully aligned with Spirit. Who woulda thunk it?

I wish it were that easy. (And Wheaties does have that effect on people...)

But it’s just not true. (Plus, you’d never use the expression, “hot diggity,” I know you better.)

In order for the mind to start serving the Higher part of us, it must freely elect to do so.

This has to be a conscious choice. A cognizant leap into the higher realm of beingness. Where creativity, innovation, and enthusiasm live.

Funny how scary it is to walk away from fear, isn’t it?

Which master is your mind serving?

Is it still working for that a**hole boss — the lower you?

If so, tell it to walk out on that miserable mope and come serve the real Master.
